Time To Lend a Hand

Many years ago we sat and watched former U.S. President Bill Clinton give a three-hour speech in front of about 3,000 people. With no teleprompter and very few notes he talked for three hours and you could hear a pin drop in the rather large room. All of what he talked about he was most passionate about. The one that really stood out was his love for an organization called KIVA. This is a non-profit group that arranges loans (not gifts) for people in need. Struggling to get a business started or ongoing and needing a helping hand. They have to repay the loans. So as a lender we get the money back and can re-lend. To date we have lent 226 times to people in 36 different countries. I have been doing this for over 10 years and will continue to do so. If I don't have enough to re-lend I top it up from my own account to keep things moving. It really is cool and once you start you just can't quit. Have a look at their web site. https://www.kiva.org/
